I have recently purchased a new computer and want to transfer my license over from my current PC which will be scrapped. How do I do that? I have the original activation code. Do I just uninstall it from the old system and install it on the new PC?

If you have the original code, simply uninstall it from your old system, then install it on the new one and input the activation code. I am absolutely sure it won't require online activation since the website for this product isn't available anymore.
On the new PC, you might need to run the installation as Administrator to prevent issues and enable the product to copy all the necessary files on the system partition. Simply right-click the setup package and choose Run as Administrator.

Please let me know where I can get this code. I've phoned the company in Quebec (Canada), but their phone number is not valid anymore. Thank you.

Only the developers of the application have the right to issue new serial numbers to activate the application, but since that isn't possible due to the website being offline meaning that the domain has been discontinued. It now displays a sample page with ads shown when domains expire.
This means you won't have the possibility to actually use the software or to unlock its advanced features since activation is also not possible.
